My mom's collection

On "History of a bookmark" exhibition last September in Saint Petersburg (mom's in the middle, wearing a red coat). Click here to read about this exhibition.
My mom collects bookmarks. She buys bookmarks in bookstores, in museum gift shops, in newsstand kiosks. And of course receives bookmarks as gifts from her friends and family. After 10+ years, her collection includes more than 800 bookmarks!

Recently she told me that she's working with a local library on an exhibition project. Indeed, the collection includes lots of unique bookmarks, that I'm sure many people would be interested and curios to see.

I live in Tel Aviv, Israel, and my mom - in Kharkov, Ukraine. This blog is our shared project dedicated to her unusual hobby.
